When Google Chrome or any browser cannot save the cookie which stores the device ID the system will keep asking to enter in a new PIN code and retry to save the cookie on each login.
To fix this please following these steps below:
- Open Google Chrome.
- Click on the 3 dots on the top right hand side.
- Click on “Settings” in the menu.
- Click on "Cookies and other site data" under "Privacy and security" heading.
- Click the "Add" button next to "Sites that can always use cookies".
- Enter in your system URL, for example “COMPANY.nsmcloud.com.au” but replace COMPANY with the correct value.
- Click Add.
- Close Google Chrome.
- Login and enter the pin and this time it should save it.
If Google Chrome saves the cookie then on the next login you should not need to enter in your Username or PIN on that device.
There are other programs that can delete the browser cookies like antivirus programs or hard drive cleaning programs.
