How to add a new service

Welcome to Nexus Step-by-Step Training where we'll guide you through how to add a new Service and how to edit a Service.

1. Click on Admin from the main menu on the left-hand side.

2. Click on Services found under the "Service Settings" heading.

3. Click on New Service.

4. Add the Name of the Service.

5. Select any Category you'd like this Service to report beneath from the drop-down menu.

6. The Name will automatically be entered into the description text box; however, you can add more detail here and which can be shown on the invoice.

7. Enter any other field, including ticking any Required Skills to complete this Service.

8. Click on Save.

9. The system will alert you've missed a required field, such as the Service Code.

10. Once all required fields are entered, click on Save.

11. The Service Categories can be filtered using the drop-down menu to the right.

12. Click on Edit.

13. Here you can add a New Pricing Structure.

14. Add as many pricing structures to this Service as needed and select Default Price on the price you'll use the most.

15. Each pricing structure can have a different Allocated Time. The default pricing option will be at the top and bold.

16. Add any Service Reports needed for this Service and tick the check box next to Required if appropriate. Click on Add.

17. Click on Save.
