The Photo Watermarking feature allows you to automatically overlay custom text (such as dates, times, and site locations) onto photos when uploading them via the mobile app (Android or iPhone). The watermark is styled with white text and a dark drop shadow to ensure it remains legible against both light and dark photo backgrounds.
Enabling the Feature
To utilize watermarks, you must enable the feature in your System Settings:
- Go to Admin, Advanced Settings then Mobile App.
- Toggle "Enable photo watermark" on to turn the photo watermarking feature on.
Configuring Watermark Positions
You can configure text to appear in up to four different corners of the photo. Enter your desired text (or dynamic tags) into the corresponding system settings:
- Top-Left corner
- Top-Right corner
- Bottom-Left corner
- Bottom-Right corner
Note: If a position setting is left blank, no text will be displayed in that area.
Instead of entering static text, you can use special tags that automatically pull real-time data or details from the current job/visit. Include any of the following tags in your watermark position settings:
| Tag |
Description |
Example Output |
*DATE* |
The current local date. |
04/05/2026 |
*TIME* |
The current local time. |
2:30:15 PM |
*SITE_STREET* |
The street address of the current visit. |
123 Smith Street |
*SITE_SUBURB* |
The suburb/city of the current visit. |
Sydney |
*SITE_STATE* |
The state/territory of the current visit. |
NSW |
*SITE_POSTCODE* |
The postcode/ZIP of the current visit. |
2000 |
When a photo is taken and uploaded, the system will seamlessly intercept the tags, swap them with the relevant job details, and stamp them onto the picture!
