The Industry Breakdown Report provides a comprehensive overview of your business activity across different industries, allowing for a quick understanding of market segment performance, customer distribution, and revenue generation. This report is designed to help you analyze the number of customers and invoiced amounts within various industries.


Understanding the Sections

The Industry Breakdown Report is organized into several distinct sections, each offering a unique perspective on your industry data:


Top Bar Filters

At the top of the report, you'll find several filters that allow you to customize the displayed data:

  • All Companies: Filter data by specific companies.
  • Start Date: Use the calendar icon to specify the beginning date for the period you want to view industry data.
  • End Date: Use the calendar icon to specify the ending date for the period you want to view industry data.
  • Go Button: Apply the selected filters to update the report.
  • Export: Click this button to download the report data.

Understanding the Columns

The Industry Breakdown Report table displays the following information for each industry:

  • ID: A unique identification number for the industry.
  • Industry Name: The name of the industry (e.g., Domestic, Services, Construction).
  • Customers: The total number of customers associated with that industry within the filtered period.
  • Invoiced: The total amount invoiced to customers within that industry during the filtered period.

At the bottom of the report, you'll see "Total" for the "Invoiced" amount, providing a summary of all industries displayed.
