The Quote Activity Graph provides a comprehensive visual representation of your quoting data, allowing for a quick understanding of sales pipeline trends, sales representative performance, and quote conversion rates. This dashboard is designed to help you analyze quote values, counts, and frequencies across various dimensions.


Understanding the Sections

The Quote Activity Graph is organized into several distinct sections, each offering a unique perspective on your quoting data:


Top Bar Filters

At the top of the graph, you'll find several filters that allow you to customize the displayed data:

  • All Types: Filter quotes by specific types.
  • All Status: Filter quotes by their status (e.g., Accepted, Declined, Approved, Pending).
  • All Sales Rep: Select "All Sales Rep" or specific individuals to view their quoting activity.
  • All Companies: Filter quotes by specific companies.
  • All Editors: Filter quotes by specific editors.
  • Start Date: Use the calendar icon to specify the beginning date for the period you want to view quote data.
  • End Date: Use the calendar icon to specify the ending date for the period you want to view quote data.
  • Go Button: Apply the selected filters to update the graphs.

Summary (Top Left)

This section provides a quick summary of key quote metrics:

  • Quotes Accepted: The number and total value of quotes that have been accepted.
  • Quotes Declined: The number and total value of quotes that have been declined.
  • Quotes Approved: The number and total value of quotes that have been approved.
  • Quotes Pending: The number and total value of quotes that are still pending.
  • Total Quote: The total number and value of all quotes within the filtered period.
  • Conversion Rate: The percentage of quotes that have been accepted.

Quotes (Top Right)

This section visually represents the breakdown of quotes by their status using a donut chart. It shows the proportion of accepted, declined, approved, and pending quotes by value.


Days Of Months (Date Range Cumulation) (Middle Left)

This line graph displays the cumulative quote value and number of quotes over the days of the selected date range.

  • Quote Value: Represents the cumulative monetary value of quotes.
  • Number of Quotes: Indicates the cumulative count of quotes.

Declined Reason (Middle Right)

This section would typically show a breakdown of reasons why quotes were declined, if such data is captured in your system.


Months (Date Range Cumulation) (Bottom Left)

This line graph illustrates the cumulative quote activity across different months, providing insights into monthly trends.

  • Quote Value: Total quote value for each month.
  • Number of Quotes: Number of quotes generated each month.

Editor (Middle Right, below Declined Reason)

This section uses a donut chart to provide a proportional breakdown of quote values by individual editors, making it easy to see their relative contributions.


Years (Bottom Left)

This line graph presents the cumulative quote activity year-over-year, enabling long-term trend analysis.

  • Quote Value: Total quote value for the year.
  • Number of Quotes: Number of quotes generated each year.

Days Of Weeks (Date Range Cumulation) (Bottom Right)

This bar graph shows the distribution of quote activity across the days of the week, helping to identify peak quoting days.

  • Quote Value: Total quote value for each day of the week.
  • Number of Quotes: Number of quotes generated on each day of the week.
