Service Breakdown

The Service Breakdown report provides a comprehensive overview of the services provided, allowing you to analyze the quantity and value of each service within a specified period. This report is designed to help you understand service popularity, revenue generation by service type, and overall service performance.


Understanding the Sections

The Service Breakdown report is organized into several distinct sections, each offering a unique perspective on your service data:


Top Bar Filters

At the top of the report, you'll find several filters that allow you to customize the displayed data:

  • All Companies: Filter services by specific companies.
  • Service Type Filter (e.g., Air Conditioning): Select a specific service category (like "Air Conditioning" as shown in the example) to narrow down the services displayed. This filter will likely adapt to the service categories you have configured in your system.
  • All Technicians: Select "All Technicians" or specific individuals to view services performed by them.
  • Invoiced Jobs: Check this box to include only services associated with invoiced jobs.
  • Start Date: Use the calendar icon to specify the beginning date for the period you want to view service data.
  • End Date: Use the calendar icon to specify the ending date for the period you want to view service data.
  • Go Button: Apply the selected filters to update the report.
  • Export: Click this button to download the report data.

Understanding the Columns

The Service Breakdown report table displays the following information for each service:

  • Service ID: A unique identification number for the service.
  • Service Name: The name or description of the service (e.g., "Deposit," "Install 7kw Ducted System," "Vehicle Check").
  • Quantity: The total number of times the service was performed within the filtered period.
  • Service Value: The total monetary value generated by that specific service within the filtered period.

At the bottom of the report, you'll see "Total" for both "Quantity" and "Service Value," providing a summary of all services displayed.
