Customer Sales Report
The Customer Sales Report provides a comprehensive overview of your customer's purchasing activities, allowing you to track sales performance and gain insights into customer behavior.
Accessing the Customer Sales Report
You can access the Customer Sales Report by navigating to the "Reports" or "Sales" section of the system and selecting "Customer Sales Report".
Understanding the Filters
At the top of the Customer Sales Report, you'll find filters to customize the data displayed:
- All Companies: If your system handles multiple companies, this dropdown lets you select a specific company or view data for all companies.
- All Industries: This dropdown allows you to filter sales data by specific industries, or view data for all industries.
- Job Date - Start: Use the calendar icon to specify the beginning date for the period you want to view.
- Job Date - End: Use the calendar icon to specify the ending date for the period you want to view.
Understanding the Columns
The Customer Sales Report table displays the following information for each customer:
- ID: A unique identification number for the customer's sales record.
- Company: The company name associated with the customer, if applicable.
- First Name: The customer's first name.
- Last Name: The customer's last name.
- Postcode: The customer's postcode.
- Customer Code: A unique code assigned to the customer.
- Industry: The industry the customer belongs to.
- First Visit: The date of the customer's first interaction or visit.
- Last Visit: The date of the customer's most recent interaction or visit.
- Paid Amount: The total amount paid by the customer within the specified date range.
- Invoiced Amount: The total amount invoiced to the customer within the specified date range.
At the bottom of the report, you'll see totals for "Paid Amount" and "Invoiced Amount" across all displayed sales records.
Navigating and Using the Customer Sales Report
- Filtering: Use the "All Companies," "All Industries," "Job Date - Start," and "Job Date - End" fields to narrow down the data and focus on specific periods, companies, or industries.
- Sorting: Click on the column headers (e.g., "Company," "First Name," "Paid Amount") to sort the report data in ascending or descending order.
- Pagination: If there are many sales records, use the pagination controls (e.g., "Start Previous," page numbers, "Next End") to navigate through the report.
- Export: Click the "Export" button to download the report data. The exported file is likely in CSV format, which can be opened in spreadsheet software for further analysis.
Using the Report to Manage Sales
The Customer Sales Report is a valuable tool for:
- Tracking Sales Performance: Monitor your sales figures over time and identify trends.
- Identifying Top Customers: Easily see which customers contribute the most to your sales.
