What Are Job Types?
Job types are fundamental to configuring the specifics of each job in Nexus Service Manager. They determine a wide range of job attributes, including:
Invoice Templates: Tailor the look and feel of invoices for different types of customers.
Automatic Emails: Set up confirmation and completion emails based on the job type, ensuring that communication is consistent and relevant.
Self-Recurring Jobs: Decide if a job type should automatically recur upon completion, streamlining repeat services.
Auto-Completion: Automate the completion process for
specific job types.
Non-Chargeable Jobs: Mark jobs as non-chargeable upon
completion for certain job types, such as internal tasks or estimates.
By setting up different job types, you can customise the service experience
for each customer segment. For example, you might want to differentiate how
emails and invoices look for commercial clients versus residential clients.
Additionally, you can send tailored emails to clients based on the service
they’ve received, such as Termite Inspection versus General Pest Control.

Operational Efficiency: Automate various aspects of job management, from recurring jobs to non-chargeable completions, saving time and reducing manual input.
