To make a customer inactive:

  • Find and open the customer.
  • Click “Customer Settings” at the top of the screen.
  • Untick “Active”.
  • Click Save.

Now that customer is inactive and will not show up under the customer list or customer search unless you change the filter to Inactive customers or All customers and search.
